Hannah Ayamba is a young Ghanaian woman who has shown that nothing is impossible with perseverance, hard work and dedication. She graduated as the Valedictorian for the College of Education at the University of Ghana with a remarkable 3.84 final grade point average (FGPA) in Sociology (major) with Psychology in March 2023.
However, Hannah’s academic journey was not smooth sailing. She faced multiple challenges and failures before achieving her most recent success. She failed her West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and had to retake the NOVDEC three times before gaining admission to the university. She also had to balance her studies with several side hustles to support herself financially.
Despite these difficulties, Hannah did not give up on her dreams. She remained focused and determined to excel in her chosen field of study. Her outstanding academic performance, coupled with her commitment to her studies and unwavering determination to succeed, earned her the well-deserved title of Valedictorian for the College of Education.
Hannah’s story is a testament to the power of determination and hard work, reminding us that we are capable of achieving anything we set our minds to. She thanked God, her family, friends and lecturers for their support and guidance in a Twitter post after her graduation.
Hannah’s achievement has also been celebrated by the University of Ghana and many netizens who praised her for her inspiring and motivating story.
