In a heartwarming tale of early achievement, 8-year-old Jordin Phipps has captured the attention of the University of North Texas (UNT) and made history by becoming the youngest person ever to receive a scholarship from the institution.
Jordin’s journey to academic distinction began when her mother, Nichole Smith, shared an endearing video of her daughter reciting a motivational mantra learned at Watson Technology Center in Garland, Texas. Clad in a UNT t-shirt, Jordin passionately declared, “I will start my day in a positive way! I will be respectful with the words that I say.
