Raven Osborne, a remarkable 18-year-old from Gary, Indiana, USA, has achieved an incredible feat by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology before finishing high school. Her academic success has earned her recognition and admiration from all corners of the world. Raven graduated as a straight-A student and the best in her class, having earned her college degree two weeks before graduating high school.
Raven started her high school education at the 21st Century Charter School in Gary, Indiana. This school is a free public school and one of six charter schools run by the GEO Foundation, which is dedicated to providing high-quality education to students in underprivileged areas. The school’s program requires students to take at least one career certificate or college class, and the transportation, textbooks, and tuition to do so are provided.
When Raven was in the seventh grade, she discovered that the program covered transportation, books, and college credits. Her family and she found this amazing and motivating. Raven knew that she did not want to be burdened with college debt, so she started taking college classes when she was in the 9th grade. After two years of taking college classes, Raven transferred to Purdue University’s Northwest campus, where she recently received her diploma.
