Child prodigies are often proof of God’s immense wisdom as their natural IQs and unique talents continue to put awe in the hearts of professionals in the educational sector as well as the general public. Having a prodigy for a child is rare, but having three in one home is a concept that stretches the imagination. However, for William’s family, this is their reality as they have three exceptional biological daughters who are recognized child geniuses.
Alana, Aniyah, and Adina Williams, the A-Team, have astonishing accomplishments that have shaken their community and made their parents immensely proud. In 2021, Alana and Aniyah Williams stunned the world, graduating high school at the young ages of 15 and 13, respectively, with honors and fully sponsored scholarships to Miles College. Two years into their academic journey and the sky seems to be their starting point as the young ladies are going strong and making waves in their school.
Alongside her tough coursework as a double major chemistry & biology (pre-med) presidential scholar, Alana Williams is actively involved in several activities on campus as she is a member of the following groups;
- The Golden Stars Majorette Dancers
- The Tau Beta Sigma sorority
- Charter/ Founding Member of Alpha Lambda Delta, national honor society
- The Golden Word Movement (Spoken Word/Poetry Club)
- Miles College (MC) Book Club
- MC Anime Society
- MC Outreach (Community Service Club)
- Theater Troupe
- Chess Club
- Peer Tutor/Mentor of MC TRIO Student Support Services (SSS)
Aniyah, a pre-law/business major, has, on the other hand, chosen to focus solely on her academics this term but has been involved in the following activities:
- Miles College (MC) Chess Club
- Honors Curriculum Organization
- MC TRIO Student Support Services (SSS)
Aniyah is also planning a future run for student government.
Following her sisters’ footsteps, Adina Williams, aged 14, who recently graduated high school with honors, has been accepted to over a dozen colleges and universities and has been awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships. The whiz kid has decided to major in political science and join her sisters at Miles College after accepting the Bridge Academic Scholarship. During her time in grade school, Adina participated in:
- Band (clarinet)
- Soccer
- Choir
- Theatre
- Language club
- Majorette Dancing
She hopes to continue her extracurricular endeavors at Miles in the fall.
All three girls are not only academic whiz kids, but wonderful ministers at Second Baptist Church as well. Adina and Aniyah both serve as choral readers and in the praise dance ministry. Aniyah serves as a junior usher and Adina in the choir. They serve as teaching assistants during vacation bible school as well.
Speaking on their daughters’ accomplishments, the proud parents had this to say, “We thank Jehovah God for blessing us with such amazing kids. They inspire us! To have such goals and direction in life as young as they are is remarkable to watch. Our girls are everything that we could have hoped and prayed for in children. God proved his love for us by allowing us to be their parents. They are everything that we prayed for and more. Their accomplishments fill us with pride daily.”
